Mr. Ray Chambers' Obituary
Mr. Ray Chambers, 74, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2020 at his residence. He was born on October 31, 1945 in Albertville, Alabama to Barney Albert Chambers and Nona Weaver Chambers. He was a member of Hillabee Baptist Church. Mr. Ray enjoyed golfing and was a championship Horseshoe player. He and his partner was once crowned Alabama State Champion horseshoe players. He was an awesome cook and enjoyed cooking for family and friends
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Linda Chambers of New Site; daughter, Donna McCain (Dale) of New Site; sons, Stephen Chambers (April) and Jay Chambers all of New Site; grandchildren, Hayden Whaley (Ryan), Jax Chambers, and Waverly Chambers; great-grandchild, Hadley Waites; twin brother, Roy Chambers; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Ray Chambers; his parents; and Nine Siblings.
Private family services will be held.
All visitations and services will be held in compliance with the mandated rules from Alabama Dept of Public Health.
