Mrs. Rachael Faye Abrams' Obituary
Funeral Service for Mrs. Rachael Faye Abrams, 70, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 11:00 am at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Rev. Michael Waldrop, Rev. Jimmy Watson and Pastor Jon E. Russell will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 31, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mrs. Abrams passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at her residence. She was born on November 30, 1949 in Dadeville, Alabama to Melvin Hornsby and May Bell Jeanette Dunaway Hornsby. Mrs. Abrams loved her family dearly especially her grandchildren. She was an active member of River of Life Worship Center. Mrs. Abrams loved to fellowship and cook for her church family. She also loved her dogs and taking pictures of her flowers.
She is survived by her son, Billy Wayne Abrams (Angela); grandchildren, Candice Abrams Stoffregen, Andrew Abrams (Ashley) and Marcus Abrams (Alyssa); great-grandchildren, Grayson Meigs, Stephanie Stoffregen, Hoyt Tucker Stoffregen, Peyton Abrams and Kirkland Marie Abrams; sisters, Ann Hornsby Jones (Gerald), Mae Hornsby Laro (Sammy), Linda Hornsby Starnes, Shirley Hornsby Smith and Evie Hornsby West (Don).
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Jimmy Eugene Abrams; son, Timothy Lynn Abrams; parents and brothers in law, DeWitt Starnes and Robbie Smith.
All visitations and services will be held in compliance with the mandated rules from Alabama Dept of Public Health.
