Phillip passed away peacefully on Monday, October 2, 2023, with his Mama by his side. He was born on March 18, 1959 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama to Rayford Lamar Robinson and Gloria Ann Alldredge Robinson. Although his physical age said 64, Phillip was quick to remind you that he was forever 22 years old. His child-like wonder never faded and he continued to find and bring joy to everyone and everything around him.
Phillip was a man of many passions. He loved the holidays, with Halloween and Christmas topping his list. Although, he really loved a good party, especially one with a good birthday cake. Phillip was a fan of all things spooky from Frankentstein to the sharks in Jaws. His favorite trips would include going to the beach or spending the weekend riding the Monorail with Mickey Mouse at Disneyworld. Phillip also enjoyed spending time on the farm, watching the cows, looking for deer, or riding around helping with different chores. No matter the task, he would always find the happiness in the moment. Family meant the world to him. Phillip cherished his time with his grandmother, father, and mama and adored Kassie, Dylan "Diblin," and Kathryen "Kafryn Kafryn."
Phillip is survived by his mama, Gloria Ann Robinson; sisters, Lisa R. Moore, Gina R. Cecil (Greg); nieces, Kathryen Smith (Brendan), Kassie Moore; nephew, Dylan Cecil; and great-nieces, Avery Kate Smith, Annaleigh Grace Smith, Addison James Smith.
He is preceded in death by his daddy, Rayford Lamar Robinson.
Phillip was a loving, friendly, and kind soul whose infectious laugh and love for life will be deeply missed. His spirit will continue to shine bright in the hearts of all those who were lucky enough to know him.
Radney Funeral Home is honored to serve the Robinson family.
