Ms. Peggy Joyce Blasingame's Obituary
Funeral Service for Ms. Peggy Joyce Blasingame, 83, of New Site, Alabama, will be Friday, March 23, 2018 at 11:00 am at the New Site United Methodist Church. Rev. Mike Stonbraker and Rev. Harold Cummings will officiate. Burial will follow in the Old Harmony Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Ms. Blasingame passed away on Monday, March 19, 2018 at Russell Medical. She was born on October 7, 1934 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama to John Vesper Peters and Henrietta Veazey Peters. She was a member of New Site United Methodist Church. Ms. Peggy retired from Russell Corporation with 45 years of dedicated service. She loved her family and pets dearly.
She is survived by her daughter, Rita Kay Davis (Steve) of Scottsville, KY; son, Phillip Ray Blasingame of New Site; grandchildren, Chasity Harston (Josh), Holly Davis, Matthew Davis and Kynsley Rae Blasingame; great-granddaughter, Danlee Claire Simpson; brothers, Harold Peters (Gladys) of Sylacauga, Doc Peters (Gaynelle) of New Site and Jack Peters (Mary Faye) of New Site.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Homer Peters.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be given to New Site United Methodist Church, 108 Church Road, New Site, AL 36256.
