Funeral Service for Mrs. Patti Jones, 66, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 3:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Rev. Donald DeLee and Rev. Donnie Pritchard will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 21, 2023 from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mrs. Patti Jones, a beacon of love and creativity, passed away surrounded by the warmth of her family's affection. Her life was a testament to the power of friendliness and the bonds of kinship. Patti's legacy is one of unwavering devotion to her loved ones and a life lived with joyous exuberance.Born to the late Alfred Billy Wrubel and DeWanda Maxine Smith, Patti's early years were filled with the nurturing love of a close-knit family. Her effervescent spirit was a light that shone brightly, touching the lives of all who knew her. She carried this light into her own family, becoming a cherished wife to David G. Jones of Alexander City, AL, and a loving mother to Misti Rich, Brent Baker (Kelley), and stepdaughter April Henley (Scott). Patti's role as a matriarch was one she embraced with every ounce of her being, guiding her family with a gentle hand and an open heart.Patti's life was further enriched by the laughter and joy of her grandchildren: Maria Tinoco, Brayden Baker, JR Rich, Logon Jones (Journey), Kylie Jones, Hannah Henley, Halie Henley, Bryce Henley, Daisy Floyd, and Janisty Mitchell, as well as her great-grandchildren: Karsyn Floyd, Christopher Floyd, Clayton Floyd, Wyatt Mitchell, Conner Mitchell, and Lakyn Jones. Each of them was a precious gem in the treasure trove of her life, and she cherished every moment she spent with them.Her siblings, Thomas Wrubel, Jeff Wrubel, Mary Wrubel, Valla Wrubel, and Cathy Wrubel, will remember Patti for her boundless love and the countless memories they shared. Her special friend, Toni Vann, will also hold dear the friendship that brought much joy and companionship to Patti's life.Patti's creative spirit was evident in all she did, from the warmth of her home to the beauty she brought into the world. She was an amazing strong woman whose resilience and kindness were a source of inspiration to all. Her interests reflected her zest for life; she found delight in the simple pleasure of playing slot games on her phone, a pastime that brought her excitement and relaxation.To say that Patti was loving is an understatement. She was the embodiment of love itself, her friendly demeanor and creative soul making her a cherished figure in her community.
