Ms. Patsy Diane Welcher's Obituary
Funeral Service for Ms. Patsy Diane Welcher, 63, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Dr. Rick Worthy and Rev. Christopher McCain will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 23, 2022 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Ms. Welcher passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at Grandview Medical Center. She was born on September 23, 1958 in Alexander City, Alabama to William Clyde Welcher and Patsy Irene Prince Welcher. She attended Victory Baptist Church. Diane was a graduate of the Harrison School of Pharmacy at Auburn University and was an avid Auburn fan. She worked as a Pharmacist for 37 year and retired from CVS. Diane loved people and she enjoyed helping others. She also enjoyed planning parties and sending cards to her family and friends.
Diane is survived by her mother, Patsy Irene Prince Welcher of Alexander City; brother, William Leon Welcher (Tina Mae) of Alexander City; niece, Kimberly Nicole Welcher (Shane); nephew, Logan Madison Welcher (Heather); great nephews, Nathan Shane Welcher and Remington Colt Welcher.
She was preceded in death by her Father, William Clyde Welcher; and grandparents, Harrison Leon Prince, Irene Prince, William Luther Welcher and Ina Belle Welcher.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Children's Hospital of Alabama and Harrison School of Pharmacy at Auburn University.
