Mrs. Patricia Ann Strickland's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mrs. Patricia Ann Strickland, 70, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Friday, August 20, 2021 at 3:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Bro. James Beam and Pastor Stacy Tuttle will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 20, 2021 from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mrs. Strickland passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Russell Medical. She was born on December 11, 1950 in Monroe County, Alabama to Edward Bruce Mixon and Mary Frances Branch Mixon. She loved her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ and enjoyed attending church and revivals to fellowship and to praise Him. Mrs. Strickland loved her family and friends dearly, enjoyed cooking and entertaining for them. She never missed a birthday wish or checking on you if sick. She was always the first to help and “quite literally” would give you the shirt off her back if needed. Mrs. Strickland was affectionately known as “Pat or Trisha” to family members.
She is survived by her sisters, Susie Whitfield (Sylane), Mary Jones, Shelia Watts, and Marie Arighi; brothers, Mike Mixon (Tammy) and John Mixon; brothers & sisters-in-law, Jimmy & Shirley Strickland and Curtis and Debbie Strickland; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Donald Strickland; sons, Mark Strickland and Philip Strickland; parents; and brothers, Cortez Mixon and Joel Mixon.
Anyone attending the visitation, or the funeral service will be required to wear a face covering.
