Mrs. Patricia Ann Ponder's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mrs. Patricia Ann Ponder, 65, of Jacksons Gap, Alabama, will be Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Rev. Jimmy Sims will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mrs. Ponder passed away on Monday, March 7, 2022, at her residence. She was born on July 11, 1956, in Kermit, Texas to Harold Ponder and Dorothy Mask Ponder. Patricia was a loving mother and grandmother who always said, “The most important thing in life is the love of family and friends.” She was a simple lady who enjoyed gardening and growing flowers, traveling to the beach, and looked at every trip as an adventure, even if you were lost.
She is survived by her daughters, Cindy Sims (Michael), Christy Welch (Shannon); grandchildren, Zach Sims (Haley), Alex Sims, Jasmine Tharpe, Douglas Rainwater, Grandchild, Brianna Welch, Shane Welch; great-grandchild, Jesus Godnies III; sister, Donna Richardson; brother, Bradley Houghton and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
