Mr. Norman McCary's Obituary
Mr. Norman McCary, 79, of Jacksons Gap passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at his residence. He was born on June 18, 1943 in to Joseph David McCary and Bessie Nix McCary. He worked as a truck driver for over 40 years. Norman loved to fish and he never met a stranger.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth McCary of Jacksons Gap; son, Richard McCary of Opelika; daughters, Ginger Pate (Charles) of Dadeville and Teresa Harris of Tallassee; daughter-in-law, Toni McCary of Dadeville; grandchildren, Grace McCary, Matthew Pate, Joshua McCary, J.P. McCary, T.C. Harris, and Cody Harris; 9 great grandchildren; sister, Teresa McCain (Ricky) of Alexander City; and brother, John McCary of Alexander City.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Beau McCary; sister, Shelby Jean Futral; and brother, Doug McCary.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
