Mrs. Norma Tucker Blankenship's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mrs. Norma Tucker Blankenship, 65, of Cragford, Alabama, will be Thursday, May 15, 2025, at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Pastor Darrell Hogan and Randy Anderson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Alexander City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 15, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mrs. Blankenship passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at East Alabama Medical Center. She was born on November 7, 1959, in Alexander City, Alabama to James Kirby Tucker and Dorothy Laverne Hazel Tucker. She was an active member of County Line Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Timothy L. Blankenship of Cragford, AL; aunt, Evelynn (Nathan) Osborne; brothers, James Floyd (Kim) Tucker of Greenwood, SC and Thomas Kirby Tucker of Cragford, AL, nephews, Zachary Dillon Tucker, Rex Allen Tucker, Michael Jackson Mann, Brian Blankenship, Adam Blankenship, and William Blankenship; nieces, Tiffany Thornton, Kayla Tucker, Brianna Ashley Tucker, Isabella Danielle Tucker, and Stacey Leigh (Pat) Wade; Sister-in-laws, Amanda (Michael W.) Mann, Susan Hamlett, and Maria Blankenship; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandmothers, Icie Pearl Tucker and Vera Hazel, grandfathers, W.A. Tucker and Floyd Hazel.
Mrs. Norma loved spending time with her family, church family, and close friends. Mrs. Norma enjoyed crocheting, reading, word search puzzles, trips to the mountains, and most of all her flowers. Mrs. Norma can be remembered for her courage and strength.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be sent to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl., Memphis, TN., 38105.
