Ms Nita K Greene's Obituary
Funeral Service for Ms. Nita K. Willoughby Greene, 66, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Dr. Chris Stephens will officiate. Burial will follow in the Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville at 3:00 PM. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 from 10:00 am to 10:45 am at Radney Funeral Home.
Mrs. Greene passed away suddenly at her home in Alexander City, Alabama on February 2, 2022. She was born on November 6th 1955 in Birmingham Alabama to George and Kristine Willoughby. Nita was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Nita graduated from Wallace State Community College with her nursing degree, and she took great joy in taking care of the elderly. She enjoyed planting flowers, doing crafts, shopping and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Trey Hall (Tiffany) of Wichita, KS; daughter, Krista Yarbrough (Randy) of Jacksons Gap; stepdaughters, Darcy Melcher (Chris) and Dana Greene Martin; grandchildren, Cameron Hall (Bri), Cyndle Hall, Caleb Yarbrough (Bailey), Leilani Hall, Ayden Hall, Aniyah Hall, Josh Melcher and Caleb Melcher; one great grandchild "in the oven"; brother, Randy Willoughby (Sheila); and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Tommy Greene and her parents.
