Mrs. Nina V. Gillespie was born on December 25, 1942, in Birmingham, Alabama to Clifford P. Whitley and Lillie Talley Whitley and she passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at Russell Medical.
Nina was a ten-year resident at Hillabee Towers where she made many friendships and came to love her life there. She was a straight-shooter, and everyone loved that about her. Her hobbies included listening to Classic Rock music and working crossword puzzles.
She is survived by her sister, Sharon Brammer (Paul); nephews, Delaney Brammer, Kevin Whitley; niece, Dawn Mashburn, and great-niece, Taelin Brammer.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Roger Whitley.
