Nettie Williams' Obituary
Mrs. Nettie Delaney Williams, 94, of Cullman, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at Citizens Baptist Medical Center. She was born on November 9, 1929 in Jefferson County to Randolph Harold Srofe and Mamie Lee Boggs Srofe. She was a hard worker. She worked a full time job until she was in her 80s.
She is survived by her daughters, Nettie Powers (George) of Munford, Opal Fuller (J.D.) of Alexander City, and Rebecca Mabrey of Oxford; son, David Smelley (Starr) of Groveland, FL; brother, Roland Srofe (Nancy) of Venice, FL; sister-in-law, Shirley Strofe of Orlando, FL; 9 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Howard Williams; son, James Smelley; 2 grandchildren; and 2 brothers.
