Mrs. Myrtle Michelle King's Obituary
Graveside Service for Mrs. Myrtle Michelle King, 49, of Jacksons Gap, will be Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at 3:30 pm at the Old Union Baptist Cemetery. Bro. Terry Carter will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mrs. King passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Russell Medical. She was born on February 14, 1972 in Bartow, Florida to David Houston Pitts and Dora Jean Watkins Haggerty. Michelle was very humble and friendly. To know her, was to love her. She loved animals and was always willing to take in stray animals. She loved being outside, camping and fishing. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend.
She is survived by her daughter, Tiffany Moore (Adam) of Dadeville; sons, Christopher Curtis Moore (Samanta) of Alex City and Bobby James Moore (Allison) of Alex City; grandchildren, Kiley Evers, Kaydence Payne, Bradley Moore, Aiden Moore, Layton Moore and Penny Moore (on the way); sister, Brenda Hartley (Walter) of Jacksons Gap; brothers, Tony Pitts (Alisha) of Jacksons Gap and Jeff Pitts (Brandi) of Alexander City; mother, Dora Jean Haggerty (Ralph) of Jacksons Gap; father, David Houston Pitts of Alexander City; former husband, David King and his daughter, Connie King; and numerous other family members and friends
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Elbert Watkins; grandmother, Berna Watkins; aunt, Patsy Peppers; and sister, Penny Russell.
