Mrs. Myrle Jean Adams' Obituary
Funeral service for Mrs. Myrle Jean Adams, 82, of Hoover, will be Thursday, January 26, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Rev. Don A. Goodwin will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. \r\n\r\nMrs. Adams passed away on Monday, January 23, 2012 at her residence. She was born on November 16, 1929 in Mexia, Texas to William Judson Segler and Sabie L. Murphy Segler. Mrs. Adams enjoyed cooking and sewing and was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church. She had worked as an RN at Russell Hospital and went back to work in 1969 at the Jefferson County Health Dept. and retired in1989.\r\n\r\nShe is survived by her husband, Winfred L Adams of Hoover; daughters, Dale Davis (Mark) of Albany, GA and Blanche Spivey (Ben) of Birmingham; grandsons, Jordan Spivey, Jared Spivey, and Blake Davis; and sister, Mary Lee Goodman of Dothan.\r\n\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents.\r\n\r\nThe family will accept flowers or memorial donations may be given to Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.\r\n
