Michael G. Miller's Obituary
Mr. Michael G. Miller, 70, of Alexander City passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at Russell Medical. He was born on December 8, 1953 in Geneva, Alabama to Claud Miller and Hazel Webster Miller.
Michael was a dedicated employee of Russell Corp. for over four decades, investing his time and talents in his work until his retirement. He was deeply invested in his community, generously devoting many years to building homes with Habitat for Humanity. An avid sports lover, he derived immense joy from coaching little league sports, a testament to his commitment to nurturing the youth. His love for the outdoors was evident in his cherished camping trips by the lake.
A die-hard Alabama football fan, Michael's enthusiasm for the game was infectious. He was synonymous with adventure and felt most alive while riding his motorcycles, embracing the freedom of the open road.
Above all, Michael will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather, whose love and leadership were the cornerstones of his family. He will be profoundly missed and forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Valerie Miller of Alexander City; sons, Eric (Whitney) Miller of Alexander City, Terry (Nicole) Miller of Billingsley, and Justin (Amy) Miller of Anchorage, AK; grandchildren, Ayden Miller, Emerson Miller, Ezra Miller, Ashlyn Miller, Noah Miller, Sarah Miller, and Oliver Miller; sisters, Dianne (Michael) Priest of Tampa, FL and Sue Mann of Deatsville; brothers, Ronald (Dianne) Miller of Largo, FL and David (Angela) Miller of Prattville.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Claude Miller, Mother, Hazel Miller, Brother, Don Miller.
