Mr. Michael Edward Abrams' Obituary
Graveside service for Mr. Michael Edward Abrams, 66, of the Smyrna Community, will be Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Smyrna Cemetery with Randy Anderson officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 28, 2014 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mr. Abrams passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2014 at University of Alabama Hospital. He was born on September 19, 1948 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama to Robert Edward Abrams and L.E. Britton Abrams. Mike was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting, fishing and farming. He was also an avid Alabama fan. He retired from the Coosa County Board of Education after 25 years of service in the maintenance department. He was a member of the Smyrna Neighborhood Watch program. Mike would do anything for anyone and could fix anything. He was always lending a helping hand and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sandra Ware Abrams of the Smyrna Community; son, Michael Adam Abrams (Mary) of Weogufka; grandson, Lane Abrams; borrowed grandchildren, Tyler Jennings and Caleb, Kayden, Catelyn, Savannah, Emily and Madison Holbrook and Ernie and Brandon Holbrook; special niece, Kristina Royal (Chris); great-nephew and borrowed grandson, Aidan Royal; and special friends, William and Virginia Futral.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Charles Edward Abrams; and brothers, Roy Perry Abrams and Jimmy Eugene Abrams.
