Funeral Service for Mrs. Mary Ellen Waters, 93, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Sunday, January 19, 2025, at 3:30 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Rev. Larry Cummings will officiate.
Mrs. Waters passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025, at her residence. She was born on October 18, 1931, in Tallapoosa County, Alabama to Henry Grady Birchfield and Bera Daughtery Birchfield. She was an active member of Hillabee Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, Jo Ellen (Hunter) Foy, Greg (Margie) Waters, Tammy (Gary) Walker; grandchildren, Tate (Robb) Wright, Hayes (Becca) Foy, Jeffrey Waters, Hayden (Michelle) Waters, Ross (Anna) Walker, Cole Walker; great-grandchildren, Noah Waters, Mack Walker, Ellie Walker; nieces, Ginger (Dale) Caldwell, Jenny (Ronnie) Kiser, Kathy Dawkins; nephew, Randy Dawkins and a host of other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Kenneth Waters; parents and sister, Melba Dawkins.
