Mrs. Mary Alice Robinson's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mrs. Mary Alice Robinson, 76, of Lineville, Alabama, will be Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Rev. Matthew Reams will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hissop-Concord Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mrs. Robinson, a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2023, in Ashland, AL. Born in Coosa County, AL, on September 25, 1946, she was a person of boundless love, vibrant spirit, and generous heart.
Mary was a woman who found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life. Her passion for crocheting was a testament to her patient nature and creative spirit. She had a unique talent for transforming simple threads into warm, comforting creations. Her love for her family was evident in her carefully crafted scarves and toboggans, each created with love and care, that she made for her family members. Mary also had a fondness for collecting purses, a hobby that brought her much delight.
She is remembered fondly by her children, Terry Robinson (Stephanie), Melissa Brown (Lee), Tony Robinson (Rhonda), and Christopher Robinson; her grandchildren, Christina Brown (Bo), Haley Leswick (Bart), Andrew Robinson (Jaci), Maressa Ware (Jimmy), Scott Brown (Sami), Russell Rowell (Lindsey), Logan Robinson (Olivia), Rhanda Thomas (Matt); and her great-grandchildren, Aiden Brown, Emmett Brown, Claire Ezekiel, Madelyn Leswick, Elena Robinson, Cason Robinson, Alyssa Woodfin, Sadie Ware, Zayn Brown, Ben Robinson, Owen Thomas, and Henry Rowell. She is also survived by her sister, Peggy Pate (Wayne), and brother, Paul Kelley (Charlotte).
Mary was preceded in death by her father, George Talton Kelley; mother, Alice Laverne Murchison; husband, Thomas Gordon Robinson; brothers, Wayne Kelley and Ray Murchison; and sister, Betty Jacks. Their memories were always carried in her heart.
In remembering Mary, we celebrate a life well-lived, a woman well-loved, and a legacy that will continue to inspire and uplift. Her love, spirit, and generosity will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched. May the memory of Mary Alice Robinson be a comforting reminder of the beautiful life she lived and the love she shared with us all.
