Mrs. Mary Vesper Harris' Obituary
Graveside Service for Mrs. Mary Vesper Harris, 97, of Alexander City, will be Friday, December 1, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the Providence Baptist Cemetery. Grandson Brandon Harris will officiate.
Mrs. Harris passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Brown Nursing Home. She was born on October 14, 1920 in Coosa County, Alabama to Grover Cleveland Vinson and Mary Izadora Vinson. She enjoyed fishing, quilting and working word puzzles. She also loved visiting with her children and grandchildren..
She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Harris Sims of Maplesville; son, Joe Harris (Nancy) of Rockford; son, Dale Harris (Chris) of Jacksons Gap; daughter, Stephanie Harris Robinson (Terry); sister, Katherine Vinson; 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Grover Cleveland Vinson; mother, Mary Izadora Vinson; husband, Joseph Lee Harris, and daughter, Patsy Harris Kelly.
