Funeral Service for Mrs. Mary Ann Easterwood, 64, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Monday, April 29, 2024, at 2:30 pm at the Lebanon Baptist Church. She will lie in state at the church from 1:30 pm until service time. Bro. David Moore will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hackneyville Cemetery. Born into the warm embrace of Annette Crawford and Mark Reaves, Mary Ann's journey through life was a testament to her strength and her gentle heart.Mary Ann's life was rich with the love of her family. She is survived by her cherished children, Tiffany (Mike) Hicks, Cynthia Easterwood, Wendy (James) Phelan, Brent (Rachel) Easterwood, Adam Pike, and Cinde (Bobby) Caron. She was a proud grandmother to twelve grandchildren and one great-grandchild, who brought immense joy and laughter into her life. Her siblings, Wayne (Tracey) Reaves, Carl (Tina) Reeves, Dorothy (Dan) Lowe, and Margaret Reaves will forever hold her memory close to their hearts. Though preceded in death by her beloved husband, Alfred "Bubba" Easterwood Jr.; her parents; her brothers, William Dial "Moose" Reaves, Sr., and Hank Reaves; and her grandson, Malik Phillips, the family finds comfort in knowing that they are reunited in eternal peace.Mary Ann's unwavering work ethic shone brightly throughout her 18 years as a dedicated employee at Wellborn Cabinets, where she never missed a day of work. Her colleagues admired her for her reliability, her graciousness, and the thoughtful way she approached each task. She was not only a fixture in her professional life but also an active participant in her community, touching the lives of many through her involvement and volunteer work.A woman of many interests, Mary Ann found solace and pleasure in her garden, tending to her flowers with a tender hand, and bringing beauty to the world around her. Her love for travel often took her to the scenic landscapes of Tennessee and the sunny shores of Florida, where she created lasting memories with her family. The simple joy of spending time with her grandchildren was unparalleled, each moment treasured and filled with laughter.
