Memorial Service for Mrs. Martha Jordan Scott, 71, of Columbus, GA, will be Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Cornerstone First Global Methodist Church. Bro. Jason Scott will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm at Cornerstone First Global Methodist Church.
Mrs. Scott, a beacon of kindness and selflessness, passed away on February 19, 2024. Born on October 14, 1952, Martha's spirited nature touched all who knew her.
Martha's memory will be cherished by her loving family, including her daughter, Katie Watson (Zack) of Midland, GA; sons, Jordan Scott (April) of Clanton and Cliff Scott (Rachel) of Jacksons Gap; adored grandchildren, AC Jones, Ryder Watson, Millee Kate Watson, and Wyatt Watson; her brothers-in-law, Jerry Scott and Donnie Scott (Rhonda); and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, John Edward Jordan, Jr. and Miriam Porch Jordan; and her husband, Charles Scott.
A true animal lover, Martha's pets were her joy, and she was an avid supporter of her Auburn Tigers. Her happiest moments were spent with her grandbabies and indulging in the heartwarming tales of the Hallmark channel. Martha's legacy of love and care will live on in the hearts of those she left behind.
