Mr. Marshall Joe Woodfin's Obituary
Mr. Marshall Joe Woodfin, 77, of Alexander City, Alabama passed away on Monday, May 31, 2021at Russell Medical. He was born on February 14, 1944, in Rockford, Alabama to Roy Woodfin and Birthel Lewis Woodfin. Mr. Woodfin was a retired Jet Operator in the Tub Room of Russell Corporation where he was known as “Catman”. He loved spending time outdoors, mowing grass, and cutting trees.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Woodfin; son, Clifton Roy Woodfin; stepdaughters, Stormy Dempster (Colin) and Windy Nesti (Anthony); grandchildren, Dylan Hearn, Devan Hearn, Alyssa Torgerson, Braxton Torgerson, Layla Nesti, Lindsay Dempster, and Madison Dempster; great-grandchildren, Sophia Dempster and Trevor Hearn; sisters, Alice W. Guice, Margaret Harp, and Mildred Bradford; and brother, Emmett Woodfin.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
