Ms. Maebelle Tucker's Obituary
Funeral Service for Ms. Maebelle Tucker, 87, of New Site, will be Friday, January 12, 2018 at 11:00 am at New Salem Baptist Church. Rev. Tom Drake will officiate. Burial will follow in Bethlehem-New Salem Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 11, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Ms. Tucker passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2018. She was born on June 4, 1930 in New Site, to B.P. Crowe and Flossie Jones Crowe. She loved her family dearly. She was an active member of New Salem Baptist Church, worked and retired from Russell Corporation after over 30 years, and enjoyed playing Rook with her friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Voss (Donald) of New Site; son, Johnny Tucker (Debbie) of New Site; granddaughters, Misty Howard (Roger), Julie Turner (Thomas), Tracy Kendrick (Marty), and Jennifer Tharpe (Shane); grandson, Josh Tucker (Mandy)s; great-grandchildren, Cheyanna Howard, Dakotah Howard, Jacob Turner, Carson Turner, Alex Booker, Patrick Kendrick, Jon Robert Tucker, Isabella Tucker, Clay Tharpe, and Ty Tharpe; sister, Faye Claybrook (Jimmy); brother, Wade Crowe; and sister in law, Helen Crowe.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, J.C. Tucker, brother, Howard Crowe, and a daughter, Judy Tucker.
