Mrs. Lizzie Mae Kirk's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mrs. Lizzie Mae Kirk, 82, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at 12:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Randy Anderson and Minister David Rozelle will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am at Radney Funeral Home.
Mrs. Kirk passed away on Friday, December 30, 2022, at Goodwater Healthcare Center. She was born on November 16, 1940, in Tallapoosa County, Alabama to Mack Alvonzo Pasley and Barcie Maryann Saltsman Pasley. She was an active member of Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church. Mrs. Kirk was a fabulous cook and provided comfort food to everyone who would sit at her table. She was always doing some sort of handiwork, loved her flowers, and loved country music. The Kirk home was always open to everyone, and Mrs. Kirk helped to raise many children. She was very independent and strong willed to the very end.
She is survived by her sons, Bobby D. Kirk (Jana) of Kellyton and William Timothy Kirk (Kay) of Crane Hill, AL; daughters, Vera J. Kirk of Birmingham, Betty K Buxton of Alexander City, and, Loretta Lynn Kirk of Alexander City; grandchildren, Christopher Kirk (Mallory), Billy Henderson (Tena), Calvin Kirk Buxton, Tanya Williams (Robbie), Lindsey Michelle Morgan, Shelly Looser (Colton), Justin Kirk (Charlsie), and Jarrett Kirk, great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Peters (Landon), Ethan Henderson, Waylon Kirk, Cooper Kirk, Evan Looser, Isla Looser;
sisters, Levis Greathouse, Shirley Hudson, Datherlene Lawhorn, and Maxine Walker.
She was preceded in death by her Parents; Husband of 64 years, Bobby Ralph Kirk; sisters, Hilda Waller and Nora Mann Burdette; great-granddaughters, Olivia Faith Morgan and Gracelynn Nichole Shurum.
