Mrs. Linda Faye Turner's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mrs. Linda Faye Turner, 75, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Monday, March 13, 2023 at 3:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Rev. Adam Turner will officiate. Burial will follow in the Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 13, 2023 from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mrs. Turner passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at her residence. She was born on February 6, 1948 in Tallassee, Alabama. She was a member of Prospect Baptist Church and enjoyed singing in the church choir. Mrs. Turner was an avid reader and was devoted to daily Bible reading. She retired from Russell Athletic after 39 years of service. She enjoyed flower gardening, playing tennis, being on the lake and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, John M. Turner III of Alexander City; daughter, Veronica Turner Powers (Jeffrey) of Sanibel, FL; son, Jay Turner (Keisha) of Moody, AL; grandchildren, Jack Powers, Ryan Powers, Kyla Robinette, Rikyia Robinette, Trace Turner, James Grant Turner, and Grayson Turner.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Eva Rape Taylor; brother, Howard Dale Taylor; and sister, Judy Brown.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be given to Children’s Harbor, One Our Children’s Highway, Alexander City, AL 35010.
