Mrs. Linda Keel Hodnett's Obituary
Funeral service for Mrs. Linda Keel Hodnett, 53, of Wadley, will be Sunday, May 23, 2010 at 2:00 pm at the Daviston Independent Methodist Church. Bro. Ray Dunn and Rev. Jimmy Sprayberry will officiate. Burial will follow in the Daviston Independent Methodist Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 22, 2010 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home. \r\n\r\nMrs. Hodnett passed away on Friday, May 21, 2010 at her residence. She was born on October 2, 1956 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama to Jessie L. Keel and Mary Keel. She was an active member of Daviston Independent Methodist Church and worked for Auburn University as the Research Compliance Coordinator and IBC Administrator. She also served as the City Clerk for the Town of Daviston.\r\n\r\nShe is survived by her husband, Roger Dale Hodnett of Wadley; sons, Joseph Thomas Hodnett (Jessica) and Jacob Matthew Hodnett (Carrie), all of Wadley; grandchildren, Abigail Lynn Hodnett and Elizabeth Rose Hodnett; mother, Mary C. Keel of Dadeville; sister, JoAnne Black (Michael), of Dadeville; brothers, Lee Keel and Harold E. Keel both of Dadeville; Numerous Brothers-in-law, Sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.\r\n\r\nShe was preceded in death by her father, Jessie L. Keel.\r\n\r\nIn lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Daviston Independent Methodist Church, Mountain Springs Baptist Church, or to the American Cancer Society.\r\n
