Ms Linda Karen Brown's Obituary
Memorial Service for Ms. Linda Karen Brown, 55, of Alexander City, will be Thursday, August 31, 2023, at 5:30 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Pastor Freddie Edwards will officiate.
Ms. Brown, affectionately known as K.K., passed away peacefully on August 25, 2023, in her hometown of Alexander City, Alabama. Born on January 14, 1968, K.K. lived a life characterized by love, adventure, and selfless dedication to others.
K.K. was a pillar of her community, serving as a devoted nurse at Russell Hospital for many years. Her professional dedication was only surpassed by her personal commitment to family and friends. She was known for her generous heart, often taking in and raising children in need. She never met a stranger, treating everyone she encountered with warmth and kindness.
In her leisure time, K.K. loved exploring the Alabama countryside. She was often found riding along dirt roads, swimming in local rivers, or fishing in tranquil lakes. Her adventurous spirit was infectious, inspiring those around her to embrace life's simple pleasures.
She is survived by her brothers, Kelvin Brown (Carolyn) of Alexander City and Ken Brown (Janel) of Sylacauga, her daughter Heaven Pressley of Fayetteville, and sons Trustin Pressley of Sylacauga and Andrew McDonald of Valley. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Jace Pressley and Felicity Pressley and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lowell and Linda Brown.
K.K.'s legacy of love, compassion, and selflessness will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched. Her memory will be cherished by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed.
