Memorial Service for Mrs. Linda Rose Baker, 77, of Alexander City, will be Sunday, May 7, 2023 at 4:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 7, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mrs. Baker passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at Chapman Healthcare Center. She was born on August 23, 1945 in Atlanta, Georgia to Edward Fann and Margaret Dupree Fann. She enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting and fishing with her husband. Linda was a dedicated Auburn fan. She also enjoyed traveling and studying family genealogy. Linda always liked to spoil her grandchildren and her dog, Muffin. She loved to be around people and never met a stranger. Linda was a wonderful, loving, kind-hearted person and will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol Baker (Jerry) of Alexander City; grandchildren, Mandy Wright (Drew) of Dadeville and Brett Baker (Sage) of Chattanooga, TN; great-grandchildren, Ava Wright, Audrey Wright, and Van Baker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Winston Herbert Baker; sister, Gail Crider; and brother, Larry Fann.
