Mrs. Lena Faye Weathers' Obituary
Funeral service for Mrs. Lena Faye Weathers, 76, of Kellyton, will be Sunday, October 7, 2012 at 3:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Dr. Albert Pike and Rev. Autrey Waters will officiate. Burial will follow in the Kellyton Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 6, 2012 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home. \r\n\r\nMrs. Weathers passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at her residence. She was born on July 20, 1936 in Talladega County, Alabama to Willie Arline Brasher and Beatrice Estelle McDaniel Brasher. She was a member of Kellyton Baptist Church. Mrs. Weathers worked at Russell Corporation for 24 years and retired as the Supply Room Clerk. She loved to read, sew and cook, with chicken and dressing being a favorite of many. She loved her family very much, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. \r\n\r\nShe is survived by her daughter, Debbie Mask (Hugh) of Kellyton; son, Michael Lee Weathers (Beth) of Kellyton; grandchildren, Gerald Mask, Jacob Lee Weathers, Matt Weathers, Katie Ann Shaffer, Jessica Osburn (Jeff) and Buster Weathers; great-grandchildren, Thomas Rowan and Haley Ann Mask; brother, Autry Arline Brashers of Alexander City; nieces, Lynn Strickland and Annette Evans.\r\n\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Buster Weathers; and her granddaughter, Jennifer Weathers.
