Mrs. Lee Agnes Baughn's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mrs. Lee Agnes Baughn, 92, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at 3:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Pastor Glenn Hendrix will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mrs. Baughn passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2021, at Chapman Healthcare Center. She was born on February 4, 1929, in Gamble Mining, Alabama to Amos Newton Richardson and Lilly Mae Prescott Richardson. She was a member of The Church of God in Goodwater. Agnes was an avid poetry writer. She enjoyed baking for church missions, reading her bible and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son, Dennis Alan Baughn (Sharon); daughter, Debbie Lee Westbrook; grandchildren, Stephanie Ann Akins (Jeffrey), Jeremy David Westbrook (Anna), Stephen Alan Baughn, Jennifer Lee Tenold (Josh), Scott Adam Baughn (Mandy); great-grandchildren, Gavin Addison Tenold (fiance, Liz), Hayden Ashton Tenold, Piper Westbrook, Corbie Isaac Baughn, Ellery Baughn, Mattheus Akins, Jaiden Akins and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Baughn; parents; son-in-law, David Westbrook; sisters, Ada Mae Spaulding, Alta Cornelius, Margene Basenburg and brothers, Amos Richardson Jr., Carl Richardson and Buddy Richardson.
The family would like to thank the staff at Chapman's Healthcare Center for the love and compassion they exhibited in caring for Mrs. Baughn.
