Funeral Service for Miss Laykland Ellis Vernon, will be Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Rev. Larry Cummings will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hissop-Concord Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Miss Laykland Vernon was born into the arms of Jesus on March 21, 2025. She never knew the pain and struggle of this world. Laykland was one in a million and will be forever cherished, loved, and missed by all.
She is survived by her parents, Nicholas Andrew Vernon and Courtney Brown Vernon of Alexander City; sisters, Raleigh Vernon and Oakland Vernon; grandparents, Matt and Julie Vernon and Wayne and Rita Brown; great-grandparents, Sue Vernon, Charlyne DeBardelaben, Betty Tharpe and Perry Mann, Billy and Judy Tharpe, and Dan and Lillian Stephens; aunts and uncles, Brandi and Craig Dunham, Brittany and Jason Jones, Brandon and Renee Vernon, and Jenny Tharpe; and many many cousins and other family members,
She was preceded in death by her great-grandfathers, George Vernon, Earl Brown, and Charles DeBardelaben; and her Uncle Bubba.
