Graveside Service for Mr. Larry Waits Woods, 75, of Alexander City, Alabama will be Monday, October 25, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Hillview Memorial Park located at 1926 Hillabee St. Alexander City, Alabama 35010. Rev. Wayne Cowhick will officiate.
Mr. Woods passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021 at Bethany House. He was born on September 7, 1946 in Clay County, Alabama to Waits Lihu Woods and Sallie Wilma Boyd Woods. Mr. Woods loved his family dearly, especially his grandchildren. He was a member of Alexander City Methodist Church. He enjoyed playing golf, Lake Martin, Auburn football, and loved to travel to see his grandchildren in their never-ending activities.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Judith Woods; daughter, Shawna Holley (Burke) of Hoover, Alabama; son, Chad Woods (Alicia) of Auburn, Alabama; grandchildren, Ryan Whatley (Emily), Corley Woods, Campbell Woods, Tucker Holley, Mickey Holley, and Ella Grace Fite; expected great-grandchild, Rhodes Whatley; and sister, Lahoma Burdette (Carlton).
He was preceded in death by his parents.
