Mr. Kenneth Wade Tate's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mr. Kenneth Wade Tate, 82, of Opelika, Alabama, will be Thursday, August 11, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Pastor Michael Allen will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mr. Tate passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022. He was born on November 10, 1939 in Alexander City, Alabama to Chester and Dicie Tate. He was a loving father and grandfather. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, and gardening. He loved his dogs and chickens as well.
He is survived by his daughters, Kim Young (Michael) of Opelika and Tonya Tate of Kermit, TX; sons, Jeff Tate (Cindy) of Wetumpka, Chris Tate of MS, Wade Tate of Camp Hill, and Scott Tate (Diane) of Kent; grandchildren, Jerome Barnett, Justin Barnett, Jonel Young, Myla Young, Salina Young, Jon M. Young, Jr., Jayla Young, Samson Young, Jeremy Patterson, and Jacob Gates.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Angie Tate; sons, Steve Tate and Todd Brunson.
