Kenneth Earl Pike's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mr. Kenneth Earl Pike, 76, of Goodwater, Alabama, will be Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Pastor Tony Harris will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 17, 2024 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Kenneth passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at Russell Medical Center. He was born on May 5, 1947 in Alexander City, Alabama to James Thurston Pike and Donna Lee Woodruff Pike. Kenneth loved his Lord and was a faithful member of Family Worship Center. He proudly served his country as a Sergeant in the United States Army.
In his free time, Kenneth enjoyed a variety of hobbies-hunting, fishing, golfing, camping, traveling, and drinking a good cup of coffee. He was known for his kindness and generosity, especially through his gardening where his harvest supplyied fresh vegetables for family and others in the community. Kenneth was a family man who found the greatest joy in spending time with his family. Affectionately known as "Paw Paw," his grandchildren and great-grandchildren held the highest place in his heart. His loyalty, love, and generous heart will never be forgotten by those who knew him.
Kenneth is survived by his daughter, Kellie Pike (Otis) Worley; sons, Jospeh M. Pike, Brian D. Pike; grandchildren, Jana Worley, Jacob (Nikki) Worley, Kaylan P. (Chance) Miles, Austin (Delfina) Pike, Megan Pike (Jace) Harper, Alex (Dana) Sharpe, Liam Worley; great-grandchildren, Jake Harper, Wrenley, Josie, Lilly, Kaydan, Zoey, Aurora Jane, Oakley, Kelby, Janice-Lynn, Baby Miles; brother, James (Deborah) Pike, Sister, Dinah (Darryl) Thomas, Sister, Jo Sue (Charles) Sasser; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, David (Kathy) Welcher.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Donna Pike; brother, Donald Grady Pike; sisters, Jeannette (Ray) Alewine, Donna Faye (Earl) Mask.
