Mr. Kenneth "Kenny" Wayne Ott's Obituary
Kenneth Wayne Ott (Kenny) passed away on Thursday, October 21, almost a month after his 57th birthday. Kenny loved the woods, the water, and his friends and family. He spent his time fishing, hunting, and sharing his time with loved ones. He was a skilled craftsman, working on high-profile welding and carpentry projects around the country, from Oregon lighthouses to the Capital Dome in Denver, Colorado, and the Ironman in Birmingham.
Kenny thrived on life in nature, growing up in Pensacola, Florida, fishing on the piers. At a young age, he moved to Alabama with his family, which fueled his love for the outdoors. Kenny made Alabama his home, working on Lake Martin, running an excavator on a barge. He loved his friends and family.
He is preceded in death by his beloved brother, Chuck. He is survived by his loving parents, Peggie Sue and Pete Ott; his son, Cody Ott (Kate); his daughter, Holley Ott-Brown (Ryan Brown); his daughter, Laken McManus; and six beautiful grandchildren, Xander, Cameilla, Remy, River, Rhett, and Rowan.
Gus, his dog, was one of his most loyal companions, by his side always.
The family held a private burial service at the Kendrick Baptist Church in Nixburg.
