Mrs. Kathleen Tidwell Rhodes' Obituary
Graveside Service for Mrs. Kathleen Tidwell Rhodes, 90, of Alexander City, will be Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at 3:00 pm at the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mrs. Rhodes passed away on Friday, September 30, 2022, at her residence. She was born on May 16, 1932, in Wadley, Alabama to William Allen Tidwell and Elma Tidwell. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Kathleen loved life, her family, and friends. She loved conversing with people both in person and on the phone. Her hobbies included traveling and cooking for her family. She was an avid fan of Alabama Crimson Tide football and the Atlanta Braves.
She is survived by her son, John Robert Coker; sister- in- law, Jean S. Tidwell; nephew, Brad Tidwell (Adelia); host of stepchildren, step grandchildren, and step great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Shirley Rhodes; daughter, Vicki Diane Coker, and brother, Billy Jack Tidwell.
