Kassidy Blaine Graham, known affectionately as Kass to his friends and family, passed away on February 1, 2026, in Pensacola, Florida, at the age of 34. Born on July 24, 1991, in Talladega, Alabama, Kassidy's early years were marked by an unmistakable zest for life and a personality that drew people to him.
A proud graduate of Benjamin Russell High School's Class of 2010, Kass was known for his intelligence and his easy-going, hippie spirit. His love for electrical work was more than just a job; it was a calling. Kass's talent and passion for his craft were evident to all who worked alongside him, and he took pride in the accomplishments he achieved through his career.
Kass's interests painted a picture of a man who embraced life with open arms. As a child, he never shied away from new experiences, famously willing to eat anything placed before him, even a rutabaga. His adventurous spirit was matched by an innate handiness and a keen intellect. A true free spirit, Kass could often be found skateboarding, a hobby that he pursued with dedication, wearing out many boards over his teenage years.
Music was a central part of Kass's life, and he surrounded himself with melodies that spoke to his soul. Musicians like Phish, Billy Strings and the Grateful Dead provided the soundtrack to many of his days. His love for music was more than just a pastime; it was a deep-seated passion that connected him with others and brought joy to his life.
Kass's desire to make a difference in the world led him to participate in mission trips with the Alex City Methodist Church to Ecuador. Known as one of the hardest workers in the group, he not only contributed his labor but also cherished connecting with the kids. As he moved from place to place over the years, he held the cultural artifacts from those trips close as that time held a special place in his heart.
At home, Kass was a loving son and a protective big brother. His kindness and genuine nature were as evident as his love for home cooking and the close relationship he shared with his beloved dogs, Trigger and Augie. The bond he shared with his pets was a testament to his caring and affectionate character.
Kass is survived by his parents, Allen and Kristal Graham; sister, Erin Graham; grandparents, Bill and Mona Kay Carter, and Cynthia Graham; aunts and uncles, Kim (Terry) Morris, Keith (Karen) Smith, Kami (Darren) Winningham, Anne (Chris) Champion, and Andy Graham; and cousins, Holly (Brandon) Harris, Daniel (Taylor) Calfee, Maegan (Mike) Davis, Kelsey (Justin) Coleman, Eli Winningham, Lena Winningham, Graham (Brooke) Champion, Grace (Taylor) Neal, Andrew Champion, and Luke Champion.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Laron Graham; great grandparents, AD and Mae Roberson, Mollie Kissic, Talmadge and Lora McCain, and Gladys Graham.
Those who knew Kassidy will recall a man who was not only adventurous and handy but also someone who brought light and warmth to the lives of others. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of those he touched, but his spirit will continue to inspire and influence all who were fortunate enough to know him. Kassidy Blaine Graham's legacy is one of love, laughter, and the enduring power of human connection. He will be deeply missed.
