Mrs. Korb was my Spanish teacher at Wadley High School for two years. She had the best personality! She was hilarious and she always made her lessons interesting. I loved listening to her travel stories and it was clear how passionate she was about her job, her students, her children and husband, and life in general. I was just speaking fondly of her to my good friend tonight, which caused me to look her up, leading me to her obituary. I am very sorry for your loss.
I was Mrs. Korb’s principal at Wadley High School. I remember that she always replied to e-mails. All of them - group emails and otherwise. Not only did she reply, it always included something pleasant. How does one be a blessing in even the smallest things? She was! She rode with me to a couple of away football games. That time was SO special to me, even more so now. So many stories - from both of us. Karen Korb lived a very full, meaningful, spirit-filled life, and I am so blessed for having known her.
