Mr. Julius Robert "Bobby" Cowart's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mr. Julius Robert "Bobby" Cowart, 79, of Rockford, Alabama, will be Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 2:00 pm at the Union Baptist Church. Rev. Joe Camp will officiate. Burial will follow in the Union Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 1:45 pm at Union Baptist Church.
Mr. Cowart passed away on Monday, April 13, 2026, at his residence. He was born on October 27, 1946, in Rockford, Alabama to Julius Lee Cowart and Arlene Woodfin Cowart. He was an active member of Union Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Charlotte Sue Cowart: daughters, Deborah (David) Miller, Cindy (Kenny) Strange, and Pamela (Michael) Turner: sons: Wayne (Tommy Mitchell) Emfinger and Kenneth (Candace) Cowart, grandchildren, Aaron (Samantha) Hamilton, Keith (Brennis) Stroud, Emily (Daniel) Johnson, Andrew Emfinger, Angel (Joey) Gettings, Jessica (David) Schoenhardt, David Turner, Daren (Rob) Turner, Kenny Cowart, Tucker (Kaylee) Cowart, Heather (Dillon) Barber, Olivia Floyd, and Will Floyd: great-grandchildren, Bailee Hamilton, Willow Gettings, Oliver Johnson, Eason Hamilton, Kinsley Stroud, Raylan Schoenhardt, Keely Stroud, Kylie Stroud, Salem Gettings, Tatum Gettings, Holden Schoenhardt, Blakely Cowart, Sarah Barber, Hailie Barber, and Lydia Emfinger; brothers, Cecil Cowart and Willie (Laurette) Cowart: and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents: daughter-in-law, Betty Emfinger, brothers, James Cowart and Jackie Cowart.
