Mrs. Finch passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at East Alabama Medical Center. She was born on July 3, 1974 in Alexander City, Alabama to Morgan Calvin McLeroy Sr. and Laverne L. Boone (Joe). She was a member of Elam Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Mitchell D. Nelson of Tallassee; daughters, Kayla M. Nelson (Dean) of Dadeville, Alyssa N. Finch of Tallassee; son, Jason A. Finch Jr. of Millbrook; stepdaughter, Amber Hurt (Corey); stepson, Bradley Nelson (Katilyn); grandchildren, Addison Nelson, Braylon King, Jaylon King, Aleah Nelson, Madelynn Hurt, Logan Hurt, Mason Hurt, Micah Nelson; mother, Laverne L. Boone (Joe); stepfather, James Hooks; sisters, Hope McLeroy, Dathia Newman (Ryan); brother, Morgan C. McLeroy Jr. (Melissa) and numerous other family members.
She was preceded in death by her father, Morgan Calvin McLeroy Sr. and sister, Penny McLeroy.
