Funeral Service for Mrs. Julia F. Whaley Colley, 87, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at 1:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Rev. Mike Densmore will officiate. Burial will follow in the Flint Hill Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mrs. Colley passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Chapman Healthcare Center. She was born on June 17, 1936, in Tallapoosa County, Alabama to Sam Whaley and Anna Willis Whaley.
She is survived by her children, Donna Machen, Robert (Donna) Colley, Rose (Wayne) Price; grandchildren, Clista Ann Nada, Edward Lynn Colley, Leigh Ann (Jeff) Burnell, Jamie Owen (Anna) Machen, Drew Alen (Brittany) Machen, Justin Wayne (Tamie) Price; thirteen great-grandchildren; brother, Glenn (Janice) Whaley and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Robert Edward Colley, daughter, Clista Colley; parents; brothers, J.C. and Gary Whaley and sister, Virginia Whaley Hedgepath.
