Judy Ann Reaves' Obituary
Memorial Funeral Mass for Ms. Judy Ann Reaves, 78, of Sylacauga, will be Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at 3:00 pm at the St. Jude Catholic Church in Sylacauga . Father Tom will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 from 2:00 pm until service time at St. Jude Catholic Church in Sylacauga.
Ms. Reaves passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2023 in Dadeville. She was born on December 11, 1945 in Huntsville, Alabama to Woodrow Wilson Reaves and Lola Mae Bates Reaves. Judy was an elementary school teacher in Baltimore City and Baltimore County. She was a member of the Catholic Church. Judy was also very proud to be a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Genealogical Society, and United Daughters of the Confederacy. She loved country music and enjoyed genealogy research, doing crafts, needle work, crocheting and furthering her education.
She is survived by Bethani Anne Thelen, William Benjamin Jung, Elizabeth Backalski, and friend Ruth Mary Norris.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
