Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Judith Jones Keel, 81, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Monday, May 13, 2024, at 1:30 pm at Stone Ridge Baptist Church. Dr. Brett Self will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 13, 2024, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Stone Ridge Baptist Church.
Mrs. Keel passed away on Friday, May 10, 2024, at her residence. She was born on May 6, 1943, in Tulsa , Oklahoma to Joseph L. Jones and Jewel Stewart Jones. She was an active member of Stone Ridge Baptist Church. Judy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a vibrant woman who enjoyed life to the fullest. Life was never dull and always full of excitement no matter where she was. Her family and friends have many memories of her dancing, laughing, and loving life.
Judy was hardly ever seen without her devoted fur baby Prissy, a Pepsi in one hand and a Three Musketeer's in the other. Family vacations, cookouts and cruises were a big part of her life.
She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Johnny Frank Keel Sr.; daughter, Crystal (Ronnie) Shores; son, Johnny Frank (Carrie) Keel Jr.; grandchildren, Katelyn (Levi) Cotney, Tyler (Brittany) Shores, Seth Keel, Amber Keel, Austin Roberts, Gracie Claire Keel; great-grandchildren, Coy Cotney, Emmett Cotney, Lizzi McCall Shores and Nate Keel.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Jerry, Joel, and Jimmy Jones.
The family will accept flowers or memorial contributions can be made to Stone Ridge Baptist Church, 611 Airport Drive, Alexander City, AL, 35010.
