Mrs. Judith Mae Hanson's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mrs. Judith Mae Hanson, 76, of New Site, Alabama, will be Friday, December 31, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Rocky Creek Baptist Church. Randy Anderson will officiate. A private burial will follow in the Hanson Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home and at the residence following the burial.
Mrs. Hanson passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at her home. She was born on October 8, 1945 in New Site, Alabama to Arnold Foshee and Ocile Berry Foshee Mann. She was a woman of great faith and her family was the center of her life. She prepared meals for them every day and delivered them to their home or in the field. She always put others before herself. Mrs. Judy enjoyed planting flowers, painting, and working. She journaled everyday recording important life events for her family. She was faithful to God until the very end.
She is survived by her daughters, Cindy Jackson (Carl), Melody Grant (Tim), Julie Carlisle (Dameon), Son, Toby Hanson (Angela) all of New Site; grandchildren, Grace Gilbert, Cal Jackson, Griff Jackson, Kaytlynn Grant, Thomas Grant, Caly Carlisle, and Olivia Hanson; great-grandchild, Jackson Gilbert; sisters, Carolyn Whiteard of Alexander City, Maynette Hanna of Hollins, and Sandra Barrett of Tallassee; honorary grandchildren, Zack Kilpatrick, and Mercedes Kilpatrick Dunham.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, William Larry Hanson and her parents.
