Marjorie, Alana and Lori, I was struck with sadness when I opened my Facebook this evening and immediately saw your post. It has been many years since working with Leon regarding Westover Water Board. He helped me navigate the politics of Westover, Chelsea and our relationship with the county. I respected him greatly and missed both of you when Kathy and I returned to Houston in 1996. It was always a joy exchanging greetings and updates through the years at Christmas. We remember many wonderful weekends when we were invited to your lake home. Our prayers are with you and his entire family. I know grandkids will miss him sorely. When my late husband passed away in February, 2013, Mr. Archer and his wife were so kind to share food with our family. This memory was so meaningful to us. He will be greatly missed! Prayers for his family left behind.
