Mr. Johnny Dwayne White, 73, of Alexander City, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham. Born on February 24, 1953, in Bay Minette, Alabama, Johnny was the son of Johnny Mack White and Drexal Mae Martin. He grew up with strong family ties and carried those bonds with him throughout his life. Those who knew him remember a man whose warm personality, easy smile, and genuine concern for others made a lasting impression. He had a way of making people feel welcome, and his presence brought comfort and familiarity to family and friends alike.
Family was central to Johnny’s life, and he treasured the relationships he built over the years. He is survived by his son, Jason White (Laurice); his mother, Drexal Mae Martin; his grandchildren, Layton White, Grace White, Ellerie White and Eli White; and his sisters, Pam Mitchell, Sherry Campbell, and Shelia Connell. Each of them held a special place in his heart, and he took great pride in his family. The love he gave them, and the memories they shared, will remain a source of comfort in the days ahead.
Johnny was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Mack White. While his passing leaves a deep void, his family and friends may find peace in remembering the many ways he enriched their lives.
