Funeral Service for Mr. Johnny Cassiano, 55, of Daviston, Alabama, will be Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Rev. Charles Reeves will officiate. Entombment follows in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 25, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mr. Cassiano passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021 at East Alabama Medical Center. He was born on October 7, 1965 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Johnny Frank Cassiano and Olean Catrett. Johnny attended JSU where he obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Education. He taught biology at Southern Prep School, formerly Lyman Ward Military Academy. He loved his family and his students. His hobbies included reading and gardening.
He is survived by his parents; sister, Leigh Cassiano (Kenneth Nolen); brother, Chad Cassiano (Fran) and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Danny Joe Cassiano.
All visitations and services will be held in compliance with the mandated rules from Alabama Dept of Public Health.
