Mr. John Brady Whatley's Obituary
Mr. John Brady Whatley, 63, of Alexander City passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2025 at University of Alabama Hospital after a brief illness. He was born on July 23, 1961 in Alexander City to James William Whatley, Sr. and Imogene Hodnett Whatley. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Alexander City. John graduated from Auburn University. He had a heart for animals. John was an avid reader. He was a loving uncle to his nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his brother, James W. (Syble) Whatley, Jr. of Alexander City; sister, Barbara (Freddy) Thompson of Auburn; nieces, Andrea (David) Hodo and Courtney Thompson; nephew, Brady Thompson; and great-nephew, Henry Hodo, all of Auburn.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will hold a private service at a later date.
