John Wesley Sanders' Obituary
Funeral Service for John Wesley Sanders, 43, of Wetumpka, Alabama, will be Friday, April 23, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Bro. Donnie Pritchard will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 22, 2021 from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Wes passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at his residence. He was born on November 17, 1977 in Alexander City, Alabama to Greg Sanders and Elaine Sanders. Wes was a devoted Foreman for Pike Electric for 16 years. Wes loved his family and friends dearly. In his spare time, Wes loved to express himself through his artwork. He loved coaching his son in youth sports. Wes also enjoyed Florida State Football, playing golf, and going to the beach. He was always the “life of the party” where he loved music and dancing.
He is survived by his sons, Cooper and Nathan; mother, Elaine Patterson; father and stepmother Greg and Sabrenia Sanders; brothers, Ashley Sanders (Lane) and Zachery Patterson; niece, Kylee Sanders; nephew, Heath Sanders; grandparents, Nelda and Bob Jones; stepbrother, Brett Aaron (Leigh); stepsister, Audra Smith (Patrick); several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Frank Welcher and grandparents, Kyle and Onell Sanders.
